We have a diagnosis!

Drumroll please . . . . .

So, I was so sick of a whining, crying, clingy baby so I called and got us into the clinic today.  This is just not my normal child.  So we got in and she was grumpy toward the nurse, grumpy at the doc, but did say "Hi" to the receptionist!  After the normal check-up we had 1 diagnosis, but we also had to do a check for strep.  WHAT?  I can't get strep, I'm going on vacation!  I mean, she can't have strep, we're going on vacation!

So after the swab and waiting the results came back and we were in the clear for strep.  However, the big white spots on the back of her throat explain why she doesn't want to eat!  So what does she have besides some virus giving her a sore throat?  Well, we were given a prescription for amoxycillian and had to run across to Target to pick that up. She was given her first dose, to treat her ear infection, in the car before we even left the parking lot.  I just want my baby to be healthy soon!

We will have to give her the meds for 10 days, but that is nothing new to us.  She's been on this antibiotic twice before.  No biggie.  The supply will also be low enough to bring it on the plane as well, so we won't have to worry about that.

I'm just glad we're diagnosed and on our way to healthy!

The downfall to all of this, I missed GH.  Ugh.  She did fall asleep on the way home from Target and is still sleeping like an angel.  I'm sure she will only sleep for an hour like all of last night and her other nap today.
