We recently decided that it's time for us to give Tike and Holi (our pomeranians) a new home. It was a very hard decision for us, but they were getting neglected and needed to get families that would have time for them.
I ended up e-mailing the foster mom the first night asking how they were doing. She wrote back and said that they were doing really well and that Holi was all about getting love from her and I'm not surprised by that at all. I guess she was even following her around the house. She didn't even do that for me anymore! Overall they are doing well with the change and she expects them to have new forever homes very soon. That made me feel really good about giving them up and reaffirmed the choice. I still love them, and that's why I did it. They just deserve more!
