Fun Friday!

Makena and I did a Target run this morning and got some groceries along with some diapers.  They were on sale, convenient, since we were out of the size she wears during the day.  We also went to Famous Footwear and got me and Jared some new workout shoes.  Jared REALLY needed some since he was getting blisters, and I need some since my treads were wearing thin.

After Makena's afternoon nap we headed to the Y for some mommy workout time.  I did a nice spin class and Makena played in the kid area.  Once again, when I went to pick her up, she couldn't have cared less that I was there.  She was just blah about seeing me.  Oh well, I'm taking it as a sign that they aren't making the time in the kid area unpleasant for her.  Just finding that silver lining!  Here are some pictures of the play area that Makena gets to enjoy while I work out.

Once we got home we let the puppies out then daddy came home!!  It had been since Sunday night that Makena had seen him!  She was SO happy.  She practically jumped out of my arms to get into his.  They had a nice night playing together and just having some good fun.

Tomorrow we are going to the zoo, I have to remember to take our special sitting on the turtle shot!!  I'll also have to get one of my monkeys in front of the monkeys.  Makena also really likes fish, so I think we'll spend a lot of time in the aquarium area.  It will be WAY too cold to go outside, but we may spend the money to ride the tram and look at them.  We'll have to see what her attention span is like.  Sometimes she can sit nice, and other times, not so much.  I'll be sure to post pictures as soon as they're uploaded.
