Mw officially army crawls really well now! I'm in trouble. I used to be able to just move Mk's toys to one half of the basement and have baby toys on the other and everything was grand. Now I'm going to have to teach Mk to pick up the toys she doesn't want Mw to have. Currently she just goes and grabs her stuff away from him in a not so nice manner. I've been TRYING to get her to trade a baby toy for what he has, but she forgets that rule a lot. You can just see the panic go across her face when she sees Mw playing with one of her Barbies ... then she runs to Mw and yanks her doll away and says, "No Mw, that's not for you. That's a big girl toy." As least she tells him why she's taking it? We've already removed all the small pieces from all the toys so swallowing hazards aren't a concern, but I don't think Mk would appreciate all her Memory pieces being gnawed on and forever altered. It may make the game easier for her though.
This past weekend was a nice too. Saturday we had a wedding and my dad came to babysit the kids. It was the longest time we'd been away from the kids (7 hours). We were told that both kids did great. Mw ate and drank fine and Mk, well, I wasn't worried about her. When we got home, all was quiet and it was so peaceful. I need to go out more often! Today we went to the Y and swam in the pool and then in the afternoon we took a nap at the same time. It was so weird to wake up and have everyone else still sleeping.
Overall the weekend was relaxing and everything I wanted it to be.
