This is 3 in a row! Go me. I've actually been busier than ever, but I am MAKING the time to update the blog. It helps to keep the family updated (including Jared). I also like to look back and remember our days. What may seem like a bad day at the time seems like an okay day when I look back.
Today started off with gymnastics! It was Olympic day. The warm-up was to the olympic song and at the end the kids got medals. It was pretty cute. Makena has refused to take hers off all day so far. We went out to eat with Grandma and Auntie Jenn and then to Costco, all with the medal on. :) She did a good job eating and was pretty good at Costco as well. I was able to find all kinds of organic fresh fruit and now they have organic dairy products as well! WAHOO! I got a 1 1/2 week supply of milk for
significantly less than the grocery store. Makena was a lucky girl today because Grandma had a new book for her. It is a princess themed search and find. She loves it. We did a few pages before her nap.
Speaking of naps, I REALLY wanted to lay down with her and sleep, but Matthew had just woken up, so nope. Since Makena was sleeping, Matthew and I ran down to the neighbors garage sale to see if we could throw the hamster cage out in their driveway. It was a go! Now, just cross your fingers that it sells. I hate clutter and just want to get rid of it. I can't justify throwing it since it's in "new" condition. Even the neighbor said, "Wow, that's a really nice one!". Damn straight it's a nice one. Now sell it for me. hehehe
