Rain and gloom = fun!

It may be raining and gloomy outside, but that isn't stopping us from having fun!

Yesterday Grandpa B came up and we went out to lunch. It was wonderful. That evening the kids and I went to the Y for some exercise time. I did turbo kick, WOWZA hard, and the kids hung out at kidz stuff.  Makena wanted to go swimming afterward, but I decided we could go one day this week without hitting up the pool. Don't worry, I made up for it today by bringing just her swimming after my workout. She had so much fun. She actually got to swim instead of walking and kicking around. It's definitely more fun to be in the pool with her when I don't need to worry about Matthew tipping over into the water! I also was able to convince her to go down the slide! She didn't like the water going in her face, but she did go down three times, so that's something!

This afternoon I plan on doing some crafts with Makena and then we're going to have a spaghetti supper. She picked the meal while we were in the locker room at the Y. She wanted it for lunch, but it was already past noon so I told her that was a great supper idea and that we were going to have something faster for lunch. She was okay with that!

Oh oh oh - Matthew got his 3rd tooth yesterday - top left!! I'm sure #4 & 5 will come soon.
