I had my 34 week appointment this morning and all is going well. I actually measured 34 which is a big gain since I've been measuring small up until this point. I KNEW he was growing in there. I was exhausted these past few days!
Makena got to go to the park with Daddy yesterday and she seemed to really like it. I used the time to read a book on the deck. The weather was wonderful. Normally I would have taken a nap, but I had done that earlier in the day. I woke up, ate breakfast, then took a 2 hour nap yesterday. hehe Jared is so wonderful for letting me do that! Of course the mornings are usually the only extended time he has to spend with Makena this late into study season. He's averaging 6 hours of studying each day on the weekends. We don't mind though, he needs to do it and that just means ours days are just like week days. Makena also ate really well yesterday. I made some sloppy joes with turkey instead of beef and she shoveled it in. I think she liked it more because the turkey is softer than beef. With those mean painful molars coming in, I can understand her hesitation to eating other things right now.
We don't have anything besides the doctor on the agenda today, so after Elmo is over we're just going to read books, play toys, have lunch and enjoy the day!
