Casino time?

I have been VERY lucky lately . . . perhaps I need to go to the casino or somewhere else that I can win something!  So this is what I have won in the last 3 days:

1 custom made cloth diaper from Snuggli Bebe
1 bag of cloth diaper laundry detergent from Ruby Moon
2 tickets to the Lady Antebellum Concert from KS95
1 Dipe-n-go from New Mommy Oasis

That is CRAZY, especially since I very rarely win things.  The thing is, I even LIKE all the items I've won.  It isn't junk.  WAHOO.

So we went to the Curious George event at the Red Balloon Book Shop in St. Paul today.  Honestly, we were VERY disappointed.  The storyteller didn't read a book at all and just talked about the different George books, boo.  However, when George came out, Makena got VERY excited.  It was fun to see her face.  :)  We ended up leaving before the banana hunt and the crafts, the store was getting too hot and Makena was getting antsy and hungry.

Once we got home and had lunch we watch an episode of Blue's Clues since we haven't watched a video in over a week and she was acting tired.  Now is my favorite part of the day, nap time!!!

This afternoon will involve grocery shopping and perhaps a craft of some kind.  I'm even feeling brave enough to let her paint.  I have to wash the kitchen floor tonight anyway, so why not let her have fun, right? I guess I could even have her paint out on the deck.  We'll see, it's pretty chilly out there.  Of course the park is always a good option in Makena's opinion!
