Grrr to Facebook

Don't they know that I only get so much time in a day to use their website.  I don't have time for it to be acting up!!  Oh well, it's good to do a blog update too.  Makena is napping hard core after going to a place called Eagle's Nest in New Brighton.  It's an indoor playground.  She and Ava pretty much had full run of the place.  There was one other 2 1/2 year old there.  We even let them venture out of the toddler area into the big kid area since there wasn't anyone around that could hurt them.

After our playtime was over, Makena asked to leave after an hour, we headed to Pea Pods in St. Paul to buy more prefolds.  I am already sick of doing laundry every night, so I bought another dozen.  That should put us to the point where I can safely go 3 days before needing to do laundry.  Now I just have to spend the rest of today washing and drying those 4 times before we can use them.  UGH.

After Pea Pods we headed to Babies-r-us so I could get a free $10 giftcard.  WELL worth the 5 minute detour.  Once we were close to home, Makena fell asleep.  Go figure.  She had a snack after the playground, but I didn't intend for that to be lunch, but she apparently did.  :)  She'll be awake in about a half hour or so, and then I'll make her lunch.  Yep, she'll be getting lunch at 3pm.  Oh well, better late than never.  I'll probably just give her leftover chili from last night.  That was so yummers!

Oh highlight to my day: I won an AI2 (all in 2) cloth diaper from a facebook contest on their page.  I also won a bag of cloth diaper laundry detergent!  WAHOO!!!  I was SO excited.  I never win anything good, until today.  My luck usually goes like this: if there is an ugly hat up for grabs against a, anything good, you know I'll win that damn hat . . . .

Construction update: they have the poles installed for the new signal light going up at the end of our street.  It will be nice since that street will be a 4 lane, but it's going to be annoying waiting for the light to change when there is no traffic i.e. in the middle of the day when I'm usually out driving around.  I am just antsy for Radisson to open back up, I am sick of having to go out in front of Cub foods anytime I want to go anywhere.  At least it's open from our street to Bunker, but I don't go that way very often.  I guess I do every other Monday for doctor appointments, but still, that's not very often.

Speaking of the doctor, my next appointment is on Monday and I'll be 34 weeks.  Only 2 weeks shy of this little guy being considered full term.  After that he can safely come whenever his little heart desires.  OH CRAP, in 2 1/2 weeks, this baby can come whenever his little heart desires.  ooooooooohhhhhh boy.

On the agenda for the rest of the day: if it stays dry outside we're going to go to the park and use up some more energy.  Then we'll come home for supper and play time with daddy.  It's also bath night.  I think today will be a very good day in Makena's book.
