Time at Grandpa B's

Since Jared traveled, we did too!  Jared got to go to San Antonio for work.  We went to my dad's house. We arrived Sunday afternoon and stayed until Tuesday afternoon.  While there we played with toys that had been in "retirement" for a while.  I wanted things to seem new to her.  We also colored, watched movies, and Girl "swam" across the floor being a mermaid.  She really liked his floors.  They were extra slippery. It was rather humorous.  Of course all of this fun ended quickly and the 2 year old attention span, or lack thereof, kicked in and she was bored and acting out.  I called it quits a day earlier than planned.  She fell asleep on our drive home and was a perfect angel once she was back in her own house.

Today we didn't do anything special.  We played with Barbies, her animal clinic, and watched a movie after nap time.  Once Jared got home I went and got my hair cut and colored.  I feel like I can go out in public again.  Yes, my hair was really that bad.

Tomorrow we're going to try to go to the children's museum.  I don't know if we'll be functional though.  Sometimes the attitude monster comes out and it's not worth dealing with it in public.  I hope that we are able to go though, it would be fun.
