I wanted to walk out

... and leave the monster of a toddler I have at the gymnastics place.  She wouldn't listen to me or the teacher, she was running around like a crazy and just being an overall brat.  It was triggered by the other kids being crazy at the beginning of class (when my child was actually being good) then she took their earlier behaviors and started acting that way too.  By this time the other kids had calmed down and were being nice. I finally just stopped wearing Matthew and laid him on the floor.  This way I was able to help her focus a bit more on class and doing the activities.  The main problem was that she wanted to "jump".  Which means spend the whole time on the trampoline. That's what we did in the first classes, but now we're onto "directed" classes with actual lesson plans.  On the way home I was thinking that we need to be in more classes.  That way she has to listen to others a little more.

The other day I posted on facebook some other ideas for classes.  Well, I think I'm actually going to sign her up for something more. Now I just need to find that "something". I want to do swim lessons, but the only thing that would work would be the YMCA because they have a daycare for Matthew. I don't feel like paying for a gym membership that I can't use myself.  My "daycare allowance" would be used on them watching Matthew when we're in swim class. Grrrr. I guess I could probably make it happen if I only workout for about a half hour.  I think they give you a 2 hour limit. Something to think about I guess.

I wish dance started before June.  I really want to put her into that. I'll have to do some digging to see what else is going on around here. If you know of something, let me know!

As I'm sure you noticed, I'm using the kids' names again.  I can do this because I now have the blog to private.  Not just any Joe Schmoe off the street can view my blog anymore.  You have to be invited by me!  So if you're reading this, consider yourself one of the lucky few.
